Pyd building is currently preparing itself for Saturday in Design. Pyd will have 6 showrooms participating in this years Saturday in Design with an additional 6 participants in our Warehouse, venue space, making pyd a must see design location. .

Koda Lighting will be launching an exclusive new range of LED Nimbus lights and The Country Trader will have on display a chair exhibition demonstrating the history of the chair through the years. De Poortere will launch a beautiful new carpet range, with arte sofas excelling once again with customized comfy sofas.

Companies in the PYD warehouse include Arthur G, Intermain, ISM Objects, James Richardson Group, Sebel Furniture and Tait.

GENERATIVE INSTALLATION: NNANCY @ PYD DURING APRIL

Don't miss seeing NNancy a generative installation by designer Guy Keulemans, which explores the effect of structural growth on spatial perception and experience. The structure is derived from a simple fixed angle module which becomes increasingly complex as it grows, mirroring patterns found in nature, but within a precise and artifactual framework. Designer Guy Keulemans will be at at pyd every Tuesday working on the project's evolution so come down to pyd and watch this incredible artwork take shape.

Michael Commerford Gallery brings car sculpture James Corbett to the pyd building from 4 May to 30 June 09

James works only with car parts; grille slats, window surrounds, headlamp rims and the like, because it’s easy to work with and can be MIG welded with minimal discolouration or distortion. Whether the purpose of the sculpture is for a private collection, public art, or simply a “must have”, James Corbett’s sculptures are undoubtedly some of the finest examples of assemblage that you would be likely to encounter anywhere in the world.
