including star architect Hadi Teherani and designer Peter Schmidt – decided
which items of furniture from the last decade had already reached the status of
‘classic’ and which will earn such a status in the future. Line Z joins products
by leading designers and companies to be listed as one of only 200 objects worthy
of the title, New Classic.

profile, and both converter and switch integrated into the base, it is a
stylish and energy efficient lighting solution. Designed by architects it
combines sleek aesthetics with sustainability. Maintenance free, the lamp’s
life is about 50,000 hours. The lamp emits a warm living light similar to an
incandescent bulb but uses 70% less energy and is twice as efficient as
low-voltage halogen lighting. It has a high light output while running at
safe-to-touch low temperatures, is 100% recyclable, and contains no mercury.
