Defined, new, unique, eclectic, clear, joyous, distinct
The year is finally underway and so too are our promises to update the furniture, clear out the cupboards, and enliven our space with fresh new ideas. Lilly & Lolly have taken this resolve to the nth degree with a move to a bigger and more wonderfully kid-friendly store right beside Mother of Pearl & Sons on the second floor. Their new doors will open on the 18th February with yet another amazing interior by Ashling. Pure Interiors are making a fresh new look work all the way through your home from living to sleeping areas with complementary pieces by EmmeBi that coalesce the whole into a perfect symphony. Designers have finally realised that Australians spend huge amounts of time entertaining outdoors and the latest outdoor furnishings are to die for including the fabulous Looping outdoor rug from De Poortere. Back indoors, The Country Trader has once again outdone itself with an eccentric twist on a classic: Chairs in Underwear. Amazing! If you have been waiting for the perfect tapware to start your bathroom makeover, it’s time to pop into Rogerseller for a preview of the clear, simple lines of Fantini Fukasawa. Designed by Naoto Fukasawa the range is sleek, contemporary and exclusive to Rogerseller. Mini-makeovers are just as important for keeping the look fresh and few things add as beautifully as Murano glass, so while making grand plans, take a stroll by Exhibit’s new range of Sirena Vases by Salviati. As always a trip to pyd isn’t complete without lunch at Patisse, and if you jump online immediately, you might even get a spot in one of Patisse’s Macaron classes, a new date has just been added for Feb 16!
